Last Weekend is a hand drawn illustration that was turned into a digital painting in Photoshop using a Wacom Tablet. This is only my second attempt at digital painting, but it's something that I hope to improve upon this year and many more to come. After drawing and scanning the sketch, I cleaned it up in Photoshop and made a few adjustments. From there, I used several textures, gradients, and custom brushes to color and stylize the piece until achieving the desired result. I hope you like it!

The Offering is a photo manipulation created with Photoshop depicting a beautiful woman in a gold dress placed in a monumental scene. Whisps of light and smoke circle the model as energy is released from her hand and up towards the skies. The energy leads up to a burst of light emanating from a precious emerald as she offers her riches and wealth to the heavens.

Journey Beyond is a personal project that I have had in my mind for a while. I wanted to use several space related photos and brushes to create a sort of creepy astronaut. The image was created by blending together various photos and space elements to create an eerie but fresh contrast. After blending these elements together and building up the composition I added some glowing elements and shapes.

Royal Highness is a new Font Design that I have created by hand. The idea was inspired by a variety of decorative and elaborate display fonts as well as things like armor, crowns, angels, and things of that nature. The project has taken me about three months to complete and is by far the most involved design project that I have ever completed. I started by sketching each of the letters individually in my sketchbook. From there, I scanned each letter and cleaned them up in Photoshop, darkening the lines and trying to get as much contrast in each of the letters as possible. It was then that I began the time consuming process of tracing every line and detail in Illustrator. The letter forms are unified not only be the consistent use of shapes that make up each of the letters, but also by the platform that each letter sits upon and the feathers coming down at the bottom of each one. Once the entire alphabet was complete I decided to give the font a 'Royal Treatment' and put together a design using the new typeface to display the title of the font and to show how these letters can be used. I shaded and airbrushed the title, filling in the letters to give them a golden appearance and then added a red background.

Pop Star is a new work that I created by first creating a sketch that I then scanned into Photoshop and turned into a Digital Painting. I created the piece using a few different brushes along with some textures and light effects to add my own personal touch and complete the design.
