Position Summary:
The Creative Director role will support the Integrated Ad Sales Marketing/Ad Sales team in the strategy, development and execution of various marketing and ad sales presentations across all US Networks.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for developing, training and mentoring a staff of five direct reports (core creative presentation team)3 Senior Designers, one Creative Manager and one Creative Specialist.
2. Supervise core creative presentation team's work with Ad Sales overall, SVP of Integrated Ad Sales Marketing, Technical Marketing National Director, Integrated Ad Sales Marketing team members, and Network Marketing representatives to concept, design and deliver Ad Sales animated/static and video presentations.
3. Act as a thought-leader in the development/implementation of a new web-based presentation software tool for Ad Sales, working closely with the Technical Marketing National Director and external supplier.
4. Manage the creative development and implementation of formal sales presentations using computer aided graphic design.
5. Update presentation design for all of our networks on on-going basis.
6. In addition to creating presentations, the Creative Director will supervise the creation of pre and post-sell e-kits, cloud computing formatting and configuration, video sizzle reels and DVD production.
7. Maintain open communications with Ad Sales, SVP of Integrated Ad Sales Marketing, Technical Marketing Director and all presentation team members at all times.
8. Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident, given the evolution of new presentation technology.
Requirements:
* Four Year college degree or equivalent combination of skills, training and experience. Degree in fine arts or graphic design preferred.
* Strong advertising agency background preferred.
* Cable or entertainment advertising/design experience preferred
* 10-15 years + experience. Excellent supervisory skills.
* Must be team player/leader and be able to supervise multiple people on multiple projects under tight deadline situations.
* Ability to organize and prioritize workload efficiently and effectively.
* Strong presentation skills
* Excellent client management and negotiating skills. This includes presenting information clearly and concisely, listening actively, and maintaining a professional demeanor with clients, vendors and colleagues.
* Mac/PC proficient.
* Mastery of standard design software applications such as: Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc.
* Proficient in Final Cut Pro, and as well as knowledge of HTML, Java script and Flash technologies important.
* 3D animation experience a plus.
* Encoding for web based video knowledge a plus.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
